EEM 123 - Schematics Analysis Class: 3 Credits: 3 This course covers the interpretation of electrical and electronic schematics, including the mathematical analysis of these circuits.
Prerequisite(s): Take EEM 117 . Course Topics:
- Classifying various electrical/electronic symbols
- Identifying components by symbol
- Power Circuits and Control Circuits
- Components on a schematic
Textbooks: Textbook information can be found on the Book Inn Web site Required Materials: CAMIT Basic Toolkit which is normally purchased for EEM 117 . Grading System: A 90 - 100

F 0 - 59 Student Learning Outcomes:
- Compare and classify various electronic and electrical symbols.
- Identify power circuits versus control.
- Classify various wiring diagrams by their construction and application.
- Assess various schematic diagrams by their construction and application.
- Explain the relationship between currents on a schematic diagram.
- Evaluate and convert a ladder diagram to either a wiring or schematic drawing.
