Student Learning Outcomes:

Define the following terms: accident, hazard, unsafe act and unsafe condition.
Explain the information that can be found on a MSDS/SDS.
Define the purpose, rights and objectives of the OSHA Act (29 CFR 1910).
State the objectives and functions of OSHA regarding employees’ and employer’s rights and responsibilities of safety and health.
Describe and demonstrate materials handling and industrial plant safety.
