RAD 225 - Selected Radiographic Topics

This course is a study of selected areas related to radiography.

Prerequisite(s): Take RAD 205 , RAD 278 , and RAD 282  with a minimum grade of “C”.

Grading System:
An overall grade of C or higher is required to continue in the Radiologic Technology Program.

B 80 - 89
C 70 - 79
D 60 - 69
F 0 - 59


Student Learning Outcomes:

  1. Use test taking strategies to enhance performance on mock registry exams.
  2. Apply the principles of image acquisition and evaluation.
  3. Apply the principles related to performance of radiographic procedures.
  4. Apply the principles of Equipment operation and Quality Control.
  5. Apply principles of radiation protection for occupational workers and the general public.
  6. Apply the principles of patient care and education in the imaging department.
