MFG 103 - Principles of Manufacturing

This course prepares students to understand, develop, implement, monitor, control, and improve manufacturing processes.

Student Learning Outcomes:
Upon completition of the course the student will be able to:

  1. Explain the interaction of core components within the manufacturing process.
  2. Summarize the various control systems used within the manufacturing business system.
  3. Compare and contrast methods used to improve a manufacturing production system. 
  4. Communicate using a manufacturing-centric vocabulary.
