EGR 275 - Introduction to Engineering/Computer Graphics

This course is a study of basic graphical concepts needed for engineering applications.

Prerequisite(s): Take MAT 102 with a minimum grade of “C”.

Course Topics:

Solid modeling to transform ideas into parts, models and engineering drawings.
3-D visualization skills in standard engineering graphical presentations.
Proper dimensions and tolerances of engineering drawings.

Required Materials:
Notebook, Sci/Eng calculator, access to internet

Grading System:
An overall grade of C or higher is required for transferability.

B 80 - 89
C 70 - 79
D 60 - 69

Student Learning Outcomes:

Recognize and apply the 3D CAD Software’s interface and basic commands.
Create three-dimensional solid model part drawings using CAD software.
Construct multi-part assemblies within the software by combining individual components.
