CPT 242 - Database Class: 3 Credits: 3 This course introduces database models and the fundamentals of database design. Topics include database structure, database processing, and application programs which access a database.
Prerequisite(s): Take CPT 101 with a minimum grade of “C”. Course Topics:
- Creating a Database
- Building a Database and Defining Tables
- Maintaining and Querying a Database
- Creating Forms and Reports
- Creating Advanced Queries and Enhancing Table Design
- Using Form Tools and Creating Custom Forms
- Creating Custom Reports
- Sharing, Integrating and Analyzing Data
