EEM 201 - Electronic Devices I Class: 2 Lab: 3 Credits: 3 This course is a study of the fundamental principles of common electronic devices and circuits. Emphasis is placed on solid-state principles and applications.
Prerequisite(s): Take EEM 117 . Course Topics:
- Discrete semiconductor devices
- Component characteristics
- Designing circuits using components
- Testing circuits on breadboard
Textbooks: Textbook information can be found on the Book Inn Web site Required Materials: CAMIT Basic Toolkit which is normally purchased for EEM 117 . Grading System: A 90 - 100

F 0 - 59 Student Learning Outcomes:
- Describe the basic fundamentals and construction of semiconductor materials.
- Construct circuits with Diodes, Bridges, and Filters.
- Compute values of components in a circuit.
- Examine the construction and operation of the transistor.
- Demonstrate the applications of FET’s.
- Evaluate circuits using semiconductor devices.
