Student Learning Outcomes:
- Define the following terms: accident, hazard, unsafe act and unsafe condition.
- Explain the information that can be found on a MSDS/SDS.
- Define the purpose, rights and objectives of the OSHA Act (29 CFR 1910).
- State the objectives and functions of OSHA regarding employees’ and employer’s rights and responsibilities of safety and health.
- Describe and demonstrate materials handling and industrial plant safety.
