IMT 112 - Hand Tool Operations Class: 1 Lab: 6 Credits: 3 This course covers the use of hand tools and their applications in industrial and service areas.
Course Topics:
- Proper hand and power tool usage
- Tool safety
- Layout and bench work
- Measuring tools

Grading System: An overall grade of C or higher is required for transferability.

F 0 - 59 Student Learning Outcomes:
- Demonstrate the safe and correct use of a torque wrench.
- Demonstrate the safe and correct usage of a hacksaw.
- Identify the correct safety personal protective equipment for various jobs.
- Demonstrate the ability to perform layout work.
- Demonstrate the correct usage of a drill press and other power tools.
