IST 290 - Special Topics in Information Sciences

This course covers special topics in information sciences technologies.
Prerequisite(s): Take IST 268 with a minimum grade of “C”.
Course Topics:
- Preparation for CCNA certification test

- CCNA preparation software
Grading System:
An overall grade of C or higher is required for transferability.

Student Learning Outcomes:
- Implement and operate a network consisting of PCs, routers and switches.
- Troubleshoot networks.
- Describe network terminology.
- Configure Routing protocols and concepts.
- Describe WAN technologies.
