PCT 135 - Process Technology - Basic Measurements

This course details the correct use and application of various basic measurement tools common in process industries.

  • Length measurement
  • Temperature measurement
  • Weight/mass measurement
  • Volume measurement
  • Pressure measurement
  • Electrical meter measurement
  • Unit conversion

  1. Determine the correct measurement tool for many common applications.
  2. Perform hand measurements on many common measurement tools with high accuracy and repeatability.
  3. Maintain measurement tools with regards to best safety practive and tool life.
  4. Convert and use common units interchangeably.
