ACC 240 - Computerized Accounting


Class: 3 Lab: 0 Credits: 3
This course is a study of using the compuer to design and implement various accounting functions, including financial transactions, records, statements, reports and documents. Enterprise resource planning (ERP) and spreadsheet software will be used for the presentation and manipulation of financial information.

Prerequisite(s): Take ACC 101  or  ACC 111  with a minimum grade of “C”.

  • Bank Reconciliation
  • Budgets
  • Concepts Relating to Warehouse Management
  • Inventory and Supply Chain
  • Financial Reports

Grading System:
An overall grade of C or higher is required for transferability.

  2. Prepare accounting information for Sales, Purchasing and Inventory in SAP software
  3. Prepare budgets and track related procedures
  4. Create reports for decision making and export to spreadsheet
  5. Complete procedure for tracking inventory
  6. Prepare financial statements.
