AOT 220 - Medical Office Administrative Procedures Class: 4 Credits: 4 This course provides a study of insurance processing, medical insurance coding, electronic health records, computer applications and the use of other business machines for the medical receptionist and other front-office medical personnel. Topics of medical insurance billing and reimbursement practices will emphasize primary payers such as Medicare and Medicaid.
Prerequisite(s): ENG 032 , RDG 032 , AOT 141 , and AHS 102 with a minimum grade of “C”. Course Topics:
