AOT 143 - Office Systems and Procedures Class: 3 Lab: 0 Credits: 3 This course includes a study of disease and procedural coding and classification systems.
Prerequisite(s): Take AOT 141 and AHS 102 with a minimum grade of “C”. Course Topics:
- Level II National Codes
- Assigning diagnoses codes
- Coding for Anesthesia
- Coding guidelines for surgery
- Coding for surgery
- Use of CPT codes
- Levels of evaluation and management services
