ACC 265 - Not-for-Profit Accounting Class: 3 Credits: 3 This course introduces the special accounting needs of municipalities, counties, states, the federal government and governmental agencies, and other not-for-profit organizations.
Prerequisite(s): Take ACC 102 with a minimum grade of “C”. Course Topics: Characteristics of governmental and non-profit organizations.

- Analyze and prepare journal entries for record common transactions.
- Analyze expenditure accounting for governmental funds.
- Analyze CAFR or audited financial statements.
- Prepare basic financial statements and required supplementary information
