ACR 118 - Air Conditioning Fundamentals

This course is an introduction to the principles of air conditioning.
Course Topics:
- Matter and Heat Behavior
- Introduction to Air Conditioning
- Air-conditioning and relationship to human comfort conditions
- Psychrometrics

Grading System:
An overall grade of C or higher is required for transferability.
A 90 - 100
B 80 - 89
C 70 - 79
D 60 - 69
F 0 - 59
Student Learning Outcomes:
- Measure and record the properties of air.
- Use a psycrometric chart and solve problems related to heating and air conditioning.
- Use proper tools, record dry bulb, wet bulb, dewpoint temperature and humidity.
