ECD 251 - Supervised Field Experiences in Infant/Toddler Environment Class: 1 Lab: 6 Credits: 3 This course is a study of planning, implementing, and evaluating scheduled programs, age-appropriate methods, materials, activities and environments of infants and toddlers.
Prerequisite(s): Take ECD 101 , ECD 102 , ECD 205 and ECD 207 with a minimum grade of “C”. Corequisite(s): Take ECD 200 Course Topics:
- Participate in Classroom Activities
- Keep record of Daily attendance on Time Sheet
- Reflective Journal Writings
- Case Study promoting Observation, Documentation and Assessment
- Lesson Plan Requirement and Evaluations
Textbooks: Textbook information can be found on the Book Inn Web site Required Materials:
- Computer with Internet access
- Word processing software (must be able to save Word format)
- Anti-virus software
Grading System: A grade of C is required for all course work.

B 80 - 89
C 70 - 79
D 60 - 69
F 0 - 59

- Utilize observation, documentation and other appropriate assessment tools. (NAEYC 3a-d)

- Integrate knowledgeable, critical and reflective perspectives on early education. (NAEYC 6d)
