EET 131 - Active Devices


Class: 3 Lab: 3 Credits: 4
This course is a study of semiconductor theory and principles, diodes and diode circuits, transistors, transistor circuits, and other components. Circuits are modeled, constructed, and tested.

Corequisite(s): Take EET 112 .
Course Topics:

  • Diode circuit characteristics and application.
  • Bipolar transistor circuit characteristics and applications.
  • Field-effect transistor circuit characteristics and applications.

Grading System:
An overall grade of C or higher is required for transferability.
