MGT 206 - Management Spreadsheets

Class: 3 Credits: 3
This course emphasizes the use of spreadsheet software to support managerial decision-making through the analysis of data.

Prerequisite(s): Take ENG 032 and RDG 032 with a minimum grade of C and take CPT 101 and ACC 101 or ACC 111.

Course Topics:

Spreadsheet formulas and functions.
Spreadsheet charts and graphs.
Financial formulas and functions.
Multiple worksheets and workbooks.
Advanced fuctions such as Pivot Tables, What-if Analysis and macros.
Connect external data to a spreadsheet.

Required Materials:

Microsoft Excel 2013
Skills Assessment Manager Office 2013 (SAM2013)_Assessment, Projects, and Training
One USB/jump disk or sky drive onto which all typed assignments will be saved.

Grading System:
An overall grade of C or higher is required for transferability.

D 60 - 69
F 0 - 59
