MTT 252 - CNC Set Up and Operations


Class: 3 Lab: 3 Credits: 4
This course covers CNC setup and operations.

Prerequisite(s): Take MTT 250  with a minimum grade grade of “C”.

  • Fanuc Controls
  • CNC Tooling Geometry and Offsets
  • CNC WPCs and Workshifts
  • CNC Programming

  • Clear Safety Glasses
  • Scientific Calculator (TI-30XA)
  • USB Drive

Grading System:
An overall grade of C or higher is required for transferability.

A 90 - 100
B 80 - 89
C 70 - 79
D 60 - 69
F 0 - 59

  3. Demonstrate WPC set-up and workshift.
