SPC 205 - Public Speaking

This course is an introduction to principles of public speaking with application of speaking skills.
Prerequisite(s): Take ENG 100 and RDG 100 .

Grading System:
An overall grade of C or higher is required for transferability.

Student Learning Outcomes:
- Demonstrate auditory and visual skill in Public Speaking activities by delivering a speech.
- Compose, organize, and outline a speech utilizing an introduction, main points, and conclusion.
- Research, synthesize, and cite in MLA Format supporting material utilized in a speech.
- Recognize and articulate the concepts, terms, theories, and vocabulary associated with speech communication.
