THE 225 - Theatre Production Class: 3 Credits: 3 This course includes the study and application of all processes of a theatrical production from “page to stage,” culminating in a production performance.
Course Topics:
- Analysis of Play Script
- Blocking
- Projection
- Memorization
- Collaboration

- Access to a computer with Internet access.

Grading System: A 90 - 100
B 80 - 89

Student Learning Outcomes:
- Demonstrate physical, vocal, and mental skills needed to be a successful actor on the stage.
- Analyze and interpret dramatic literature.
- Demonstrate the character’s role within the cultural and historical context of the production through adapting to the set and stage properties.
- Develop character using voice and blocking techniques suitable for the theatre production.
- Demonstrate strong work ethic both as an individual and as a collaborative team member.
