WLD 154 - Pipefitting and Welding Class: 3 Lab: 3 Credits: 4 This is a basic course in fitting and welding pipe joints, either ferrous or non-ferrous, using standard processes.

Grading System: An overall grade of C or higher is required for transferability.

Student Learning Outcomes:
- Identify and properly use basic pipefitting tools efficiently and safely.
- State names, types and use of basic pipe fittings.
- Identify as well as interpret the purpose of multiple pipefitting symbols and blueprints.
- Use pipefitting formulas to calculate takeouts for fittings and for basic design and blueprints.
- Make their own pipe template as well as demonstrating the use and purpose of the template.
- Fit and weld pipe from the Cut, Fit, and Weld aspect in the 45 and 90 degree positions.
