Description: This course includes a study of disease and procedural coding and classification systems.
Prerequisite(s): AHS 102 with a minimum grade of C or higher. Course Topics:
- Level II National Codes
- Assigning diagnoses codes
- Coding for Anesthesia
- Coding guidelines for surgery
- Coding for surgery
- Use of CPT codes
- Levels of evaluation and management services
