PSY 212 - Abnormal Psychology

Description: This course is a study of the nature and development of behavioral disorders, including the investigation of contemporary treatment procedures.

Prerequisite(s): Take PSY 201  with a minimum grade of C.

  • Classification and assessment of abnormal behavior
  • Dissociative disorders
  • Somatoform disorders
  • Anxiety disorders
  • Mood disorders
  • Psychotic disorders
  • Sexual disorders including gender identity disorder
  • Personality disorders
  • Childhood disorders

Grading System:
An overall grade of C or higher is required for transferability.
