DAT 183 - Dental Specialties

Description: This course covers the equipment and procedures related to dental specialties used in clinical experiences.

Prerequisite(s):  AHS 113 DAT 113 , DAT 115 DAT 118 , DAT 121 , and DAT 154 .

Grading System:
An overall grade of B or higher is required for transferability.

A = 90 - 100
B = 80 - 89
C = 70 - 79
D = 60 - 69
F =   0 - 59


Student Learning Outcomes:
  1. Identify the instruments and procedures and demonstrate procedures performed in Fixed Prosthodontics.
  2. Identify the instruments and procedures and demonstrate procedures performed in provisional coverage.
  3. Identify the properties of dental implant materials. Identify the instruments and procedures related to dental implants.
  4. Identify the instruments and procedures performed in Periodontics.
  5. Identify the instruments and procedures performed in Oral Maxiofacial Surgery.
