Description: This course emphasizes skills relative to managing office functions with emphasis on conflict resolution, confidentiality, security of records, and supervisory/leadership skills.
Prerequisite(s): AOT 133 with a minimum grade of a C or higher. Course Topics:
- Introduction to management theory
- Management’s ethical responsibility
- Organizational culture, structure, and change
- Human resource management, motivating employees, and managing differences Increasing effectiveness of teams
