Academic Concerns


Spartanburg Community College wants students to have positive educational experiences in which student concerns can be expressed openly and readily. Student complaints are address in a fair and professional manner.

If a student has a conflict, concern, complaint, disagreement, etc., the first step is for the student to try to resolve the issue with the instructor. If the issue has not been resolved, the next level of contact would be the department chair. After meeting with the department chair and a resolution has not been met, the next level of contact would be the division dean. If after meeting with the division dean and the issue hasn’t been resolved, the student would contact the Senior Vice President of Academic Affairs.
