MEC 110 - DC Circuits Lecture Hours: 1 Clinical Hours: 6 Credits: 3
Description: This course is a study of direct current theory. Series, parallel, and series-parallel circuits are solved using Ohm’s law and critical thinking skills. In addition to solving, circuits are constructed and tested for proper operation using various measuring instruments.

CAMIT Toolkit Grading System: An overall grade of C or higher is required for transferability.
A = 90 - 100
B = 80 - 89
C = 70 - 79
D = 60 - 69
F = 0 - 59 Student Learning Outcomes: Upon competition of the course the student will be able to:
- Use Ohm’s Law to calculate values in a circuit.
- Calculate, build, and measure values given series circuit diagram.
- Calculate, build, and measure values given parallel circuit diagram.
- Calculate, build, and measure values given series-parallel circuit diagram.
