MEC 152 - Mechanical Components


Lecture Hours: 2 Lab Hours: 3 Credits: 3

Description: This course covers mechanical components found in industrial systems and how these components are integrated with other equipment and devices.

Prerequisite(s): MEC110, MEC130, and MEC102.

Grading System:
An overall grade of C or higher is required for transferability.

A = 90 - 100
B = 80 - 89
C = 70 - 79
D = 60 - 69
F =   0 - 59

  1. Identify various mechanical components and their proper application.
  2. Demonstrate knowledge of installation and removal of various mechanical components.
  3. Demonstrate knowledge of different types of fasteners and their correct applications.
