MEC 207 - Robotics and Automated Controls VI Lecture Hours: 3 Credits: 1
Description: This course is the study of the concepts of automatic controls and process control elements found in industrial applications.
Prerequisite(s): MEC 110, MEC 130, and MEC 102. Course Topics:
- Industrial Robotics
- PLCs
- Vision Systems
- Process Control

Grading System: An overall grade of C or higher is required for transferability.
A = 90 - 100
B = 80 - 89
C = 70 - 79
D = 60 - 69
F = 0 - 59 Student Learning Outcomes:
- Identify methods for automatic controls in an automated cell.
- Demonstrate an understanding of vision systems.
- Create a program that incorporate robotic programs and vision systems to automate a process.
