SPA 201 - Intermediate Spanish I Lecture Hours: 3 Lab Hours: 0 Credits: 3
Description: This course is a review of Spanish grammar with attention given to more complex grammatical structures and reading difficult prose.
Prerequisite(s): Take SPA 102 with a minimum grade of C. Course Topics:
- Reading skills appropriate for non-native speakers of Spanish at the third semester level
- Writing skills appropriate for non-native speakers of Spanish at the third semester level
- Speaking skills appropriate for non-native speakers of Spanish at the third semester level
- Listening skills appropriate for non-native speakers of Spanish at the third semester level
- Cultural awareness of traditions/events/significant persons in the Hispanic/Latino community

Grading System: An overall grade of C or higher is required for transferability.
