AOT 250 - Advanced Information Processing

Description: This course emphasizes complex applications of information processing software using advanced features and concepts.
Prerequisite(s): Take CPT 170 with a minimum grade of C.
Course Topics:
- Creating and editing presentations with pictures
- Enhancing presentations with shapes and SmartArt
- Inserting and formatting charts and tables
- Adding media and animations
- Managing email messages, calendars, and contacts
- Creating and managing tasks

- Microsoft PowerPoint 365/2021
- Microsoft Outlook 365/2021
- Google Slides
Grading System:
An overall grade of C or higher is required for transferability.
A = 90 - 100
B = 80 - 89
C = 70 - 79
D = 60 - 69
F = 0 - 59

- Apply formatting to slides.
- Insert pictures and shapes into presentations.
- Read, create, and reply to email messages.
