MEC 214 - Reliability Centered Maintenance

Description: This course is the study of methods of preventive and predictive maintenance that ensures continuous improvement. This includes vibration analysis, infrared photography, and ultrasonic measuring equipment.
Prerequisite(s): Take MEC 102 , MEC 110 , and MEC 130 .

Grading System:
An overall grade of C or higher is required for transferability.
A = 90 - 100
B = 80 - 89
C = 70 - 79
D = 60 - 69
F = 0 - 59

- Demonstrate an understanding of what predictive maintenance is and its purpose.
- Demonstrate an understanding of proper use of test equipment used in an industrial environment for preventative/predictive maintenance.
