Program Description

Business Administration Associate in Applied Science. Courses to be chosen by the student under the guidance of his/her faculty advisor, for the purpose of allowing the student to adapt the program to his/her individual objectives.

Practical Experience

Students will typically incorporate a certificate from a specific industry (e.g., Culinary, Dental Assistant, Medical Assistant, or Early Childhood Development), which provides a framework to understand how the business classes provide value.

Professional Opportunities

A wide range of business professions can be studied by focusing electives on a particular industry (e.g., Culinary, Dental Assistant, Medical Assistant, or Early Childhood Development).  This should be done in consultation with your academic/faculty advisor.

Program Learning Outcomes

  1. Employ the four functions of management (plan, organize, lead, control).
  2. Apply routine accounting, financial, and budgeting skills.
  3. Demonstrate knowledge of business ethics and law in assessing case studies.
