ACC 265 - Not-for-Profit Accounting

Description: This course introduces the special accounting needs of municipalities, counties, states, the federal government and governmental agencies, and other not-for-profit organizations.

Prerequisite(s): Take ACC 102 with a minimum grade of C.

GAAP as it applies to Governmental and non-profit organizations.
Journal entries
Fund accounting
Expenditure accounting
Enterprise funds
CAFR analysis
Accounting principle applied to governmental and non-profit organizations

An overall grade of C or higher is required for transferability.
