CPT 206 - Advanced Event-Driven Programming Lecture Hours: 3 Credits: 3
Description: This course is a study of advanced techniques for programming with an event-driven language.
Prerequisite(s): Take CPT 185 with a minimum grade of C. Course Topics:
- MS. Visual Studio (.NET) structure
- Design a form
- Coding the form to be functional
- Designing and developing simple programs
- Designing and developing complex programs
Textbooks: Textbook information can be found on the Book Inn website Required Materials:
- USB Flash Drive (min. capacity 8 Gb.)
Grading System: An overall grade of C or higher is required for transferability.
A = 90 - 100
B = 80 - 89
C = 70 - 79
D = 60 - 69
F = 0 - 59 Student Learning Outcomes:
- Develop a program to do simple calculations.
- Develop a program using ifs and nested if conditions.
- Develop a program using loops.
- Develop a program using arrays.
- Develop a web-based application.
