EGT 155 - Intermediate CAD Lecture Hours: 1 Lab Hours: 3 Credits: 2
Description: This course covers advanced computer aided drafting skills, including topics such as creating isometrics and script files and customizing menus, text fonts, and hatch fonts to produce advanced drawings.
Prerequisite(s): Take EGT 151 . Course Topics:
- Drafting Environment
- Dimensioning an object
- Print drawings in Lay Out or Paper Space
- Draw an Isometric figure
- Make a block, manipulate a WBlock
Textbooks: Textbook information can be found on the Book Inn website Required Materials:
- 1 Portable Storage mediums (USB drives)
- ½ ” or 1” 3 Ring Binder - Pencil #2 - ruler
- Paper and Pen for Notes
Grading System: An overall grade of C or higher is required for transferability.
A = 90 - 100
B = 80 - 89
C = 70 - 79
D = 60 - 69
F = 0 - 59 Student Learning Outcomes:
- Create hard copies using paper space.
- Demonstrate a knowledge of Block with Attributes.
- Extract Attributes from a drawing.
- Export a drawing outside a CADD environment through the use of Power Point and PDF’s
- Create a block and a wblock.
