HRT 104 - Landscape Design & Implementation Lecture Hours: 2 Lab Hours: 3 Credits: 3
Description: This course is a study of landscape design and drafting as well as landscape installation techniques.
Prerequisite(s): Take RDG 100 with a minimum grade of C. Course Topics:
- Evaluation and use of proper landscape design principles will be presented.

F = 0 - 59 Student Learning Outcomes:
- Design a landscape plan based on a client’s personal needs and property space utilization.
- Apply the design qualities of plants and the principles of landscape design.
- Create landscape design plans with quality graphics, lettering, and correct plan organization.
- Present landscape plans in a professional manor to a client using design objectives to identify and solve problems.
- Calculate proper scale and design conversions using an engineer’s scale.
