HRT 110 - Plant Form & Function Lecture Hours: 3 Lab Hours: 3 Credits: 4
Description: This course is a study of morphology, anatomy, and physiology of higher plants. Emphasis is on plant structure, functions of plant parts, plant processes, plant growth and development, and plant inheritance.
Prerequisite(s): Take RDG 100 with a minimum grade of C. Course Topics:
- Study of the various plant components and biological systems that influence plant behaviors and performance in the landscape and nursery.
- Evaluation of plant genetics and report on plant evolution.
- Summarization of the biological influences by plants in the environment.
