Description: A comprehensive introduction to therapeutic massage including history, theories, benefits, contraindications, ethical considerations, and S.C. Law for licensure. Swedish techniques are introduced.

Effect, benefits, indications and contraindications of massage
Safe and sanitary practice of massage and hydrotherapy
Effective assessment and consultation for massage

An overall grade of C or higher is required for transferability.
