RAD 105 - Radiographic Anatomy

Description: This course includes the study of the structures of the human body and the normal function of its systems. Special emphasis is placed on radiographic anatomy.
Corequisite(s): Take RAD 130 .

Grading System:
An overall grade of C or higher is required for transferability and to continue in the Radiologic Technology Program.
A = 90 - 100
B = 80 - 89
C = 70 - 79
D = 60 - 69
F = 0 - 59
Student Learning Outcomes:
- Identify all the body systems of the human body.
- Match all organs in the human body to the correct body system to which they are a part of.
- Locate the organs of the body systems in the correct cavities of the human body.
- Explain the function of each body system and organs of the human body.
- Apply knowledge of organs in the body system to determine injury and pathological conditions to the human body.
- Use basic word roots, suffixes and prefixes accurately to build and decode medical terms.
