IST 265 - Designing a Windows Directory Services Infrastructure


Lecture Hours: 3 Credits: 3

Description: This course is a study of directory services infrastructure design, including design of a domain structure, free and forest structures, organizational unit structure and other related topics. 

Prerequisite(s): Take IST 166  and CPT 209  with a minimum grade of C. 
Course Topics:
  • Installation and configuration of server software in a virtual environment
  • Configuration and management of Active Directory
  • Group policies in desktop environment

  • USB Flash Drive

Grading System:
An overall grade of C or higher is required for transferability.

A =  90 - 100
B =   80 - 89
C =   70 - 79
D =   60 - 69
F =     0 - 59
