MAT 100 - Introductory College Math

Description: This course includes the following topics in an algebraic context: mathematical methods, techniques, ways to thinking and problem solving.

Grading System:
A =  90 - 100
B =   80 - 89
C =   70 - 79
D =   60 - 69
F =     0 - 59
Student Learning Outcomes:
  1. Demonstrate ability to perform arithmetic operations on different types of numbers.
  2. Solve algebraic equations.
  3. Solve problems involving ratio, proportion, and percentages. 
  4. Solve problems involving measurement and geometry.
  5. Solve problems involving introductory algebraic concepts including exponents and polynomials.
