Description: This course covers gas and arc welding processes used in maintenance shops.
Prerequisite(s): Take WLD 208 Course Topics:
- Learn to weld on different thicknesses and various types of metals as well as making repair welds.

Grading System: An overall grade of C or higher is required for transferability.

- Demonstrate the ability to cut materials using oxy-fuel and plasma methods with efficient use of consumable gasses.
- Ability to weld 16 gauge and higher sheet metal.
- Knowing steps and processes to make repair welds on various materials.
- Ability to weld different types of ferrous and non-ferrous materials with various processes.
