MEC 202 - Industrial Networking Lecture Hours: 2 Credits: 2
Description: This course is designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary to understand, implement, and troubleshoot networks in industrial settings. Students will be exposed to Ethernet/IP, profinet, profibus, and other types of industrial networks used in surrounding industries.
Prerequisite(s): MEC 211 Course Topics:
- Introduction to industrial networks
- Various network types
- Uses in industrial settings
- Troubleshooting industrial networks
- Maintaining industrial networks
