MEC 202 - Industrial Networking


Lecture Hours: 2 Credits: 2

Description: This course is designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary to understand, implement, and troubleshoot networks in industrial settings. Students will be exposed to Ethernet/IP, profinet, profibus, and other types of industrial networks used in surrounding industries.

Prerequisite(s): MEC 211

  • Troubleshooting industrial networks
  • Maintaining industrial networks

Grading System:
An overall grade of C or higher is required for transferability.

A = 90 - 100
B = 80 - 89
C = 70 - 79
D = 60 - 69
