DHM 107 - Diesel Equipment Service and Diagnosis

Description: This course is a study of heavy vehicle systems with emphasis on preventive maintenance, problem diagnosis, and repair procedures.
Prerequisite(s): Take DHM 159 or CWE 113 and DHM 173 .

Grading System:
An overall grade of C or higher is required for transferability.
A = 90 - 100
B = 80 - 89

- Identify the operation of hydrostatic, planetary and chain drive systems.
- Identify industry standard diagnostic procedures for off-highway equipment.
- Perform industry standard rigging and hoisting techniques.
- Perform maintenance, inspections, and repairs of off-highway equipment.
