DHM 205 - Diesel Engines II

Description: This course covers the practical application of diesel engine repair, including engine disassembly, unit repair, reassembly, and testing.
Prerequisite(s): Take DHM 159 or CWE 113 and DHM 173 .
Course Topics:
- Cooling System Operation and Diagnosis
- Lubrication System and Diagnosis
- Gaskets and Sealants
- Camshafts, Valve train, and Engine Timing Components
- Engine Cleaning and Component Inspection

Grading System:
An overall grade of C or higher is required for transferability.
A = 90 - 100
B = 80 - 89
C = 70 - 79
D = 60 - 69
F = 0 - 59

- Perform diesel engine disassembly and reassembly procedures.
- Perform diagnostic and repair procedures on the turbocharger system.
