Program Description
Computer technology with programming/database electives students develop skills in software development, PC operating systems, systems analysis and design, PC hardware concepts, computer software applications, database applications and networking.
Practical Experience
Students gain practical experiences in procedural and event-driven programming languages. They work with different types of operating systems, programming languages, networking architectures, personal computers and database applications. Students develop logical thinking, problem-solving, interpersonal and communication skills.

Students will be able to:
- Apply IT support and security skills including installing, operating, diagnosing and repairing problems with computer hardware and operating systems.
- Create business-related reports, spreadsheets, diagrams and databases.
