EEM 151 - Motor Controls I

Description: This course is an introduction to motor controls, including a study of the various control devices and wiring used in industrial processes.

Corequisite(s): Take EEM 117  or ACR 106 .

Student Learning Outcomes:
  1. Demonstrate proper industrial safety practices.
  2. Demonstrate proper use of test equipment.
  3. Identify logic symbols used in ladder logic.
  4. Design ladder diagrams.
  5. Design, build, and test Motor Starter, Relay Logic, and Timer Circuits.
